North Pole Is Melting

 

Because of global warming, the ice at the North Pole is melting. The ice there is much thinner than in used to be back in 1980 and it breaks up more easily. This is really bad for the animals, like polar bears, walruses and seals, that live or breed on the ice. And what will happen to the animals if it melts completely? Where can they go?

 

And it’s a disaster for Santa Claus because the workshop where his elves make the Christmas toys is at the North Pole, and the ice under it is breaking up. They’re about to lose their home but Santa can’t do anything about it because he’s losing his magic. Plus he’s under attack by a rival toymaker, Mr Snear, who is trying to steal Christmas. Can Vixen, the littlest reindeer, save Christmas?
