Industrial Visit @ Transmission Substation Unnao

For accustoming the students into the real world of electricity generation, School of Management Sciences, Lucknow affiliated to A.P.J.A.K University organized an industrial visit for the students of EN department, to 765 kV Transmission Substation Unnao along with their faculty members.

2^nd, 3^rd & 4^th year students were the prime beneficiaries from this industrial visit. The main objective behind this visit was to make students aware about the Power system networks, substation and transmission equipments. 

A 765/400kV substation is the highest grade system voltage for transmission in India. All the students have gone through the deep knowledge of the following equipment at substation-

1. Working of High Voltage Transmission Substation.

2. Details of Various Substation equipments (Main electrical equipment and Auxiliary supplies).

3. Details of different Control Room equipments used in substation.

4. Various Protection Schemes and equipments used for Transmission substation
