He is a well known singer of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Following two albums have been released so far:

Rang-E-Ghazal and Shyam

The first album includes 10 Ghazals penned by renowned Urdu poets including Dr. Basheer Badra, Dr.Rahat Indori, Ibsne Inshaa and more. All poems have been sung and composed by Mahesh Sharma.

Second album includes traditional lyric “Shree Krishna Govinda Hare Muraree” also sung and composed by Mahesh Sharma.

Due to much resemblance to voice of Ghazal and Bhajan maestro Jagjeet Singh, Mahesh is known as second Jagjeet Singh among his fans.

He has been acclaimed by King of music Naushad, Great Urdu poet Qateel Shifai and more.

Mahesh while serving in Central Bank of India represented Bank in various music competitions organized at national levels and won many prizes. He guides music learners also. Many young talents learnt art of light music from him and have made their names at national level.

He believes in melodious creation and composes songs based upon various ragas of India classical music. Bhairavi and Peelu  are his favourite ragas.
