The XonPhone 5 - an Average Phone with Great Performance

The XonPhone 5 is the latest player to enter the budget android market, what it promises is very high value to the user. Proudly presenting itself as an affordable budget android, the XonPhone 5 does pack in some extraordinary features for a very low price of Rs. 7999/-.

On the back is an 8 MP camera that captures good shots in HD and with enhanced colour reproduction. It also has a LED flash, so low light conditions are not an issue. The 2 MP front facing camera is pretty average but worked well for video calls.

OPlus has added a MediaTek quad core processor clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz with a Cortex A7 chipset. You can find processors of similar make in premium smart phones, so XonPhone 5 smart phone will be a good performer as well. The XonPhone 5 had scored 48.9 FPS on the Nenamark 2 and 17,222 on the Antutu tests.

Daily performance on the XonPhone 5 will be smooth, but the device may not be able to sustain some high end gaming apps. The UI interactions are very fast and responsive as you have a 1 GB RAM. The nest best thing is the 16 GB of internal space, with 10 GB available to the users and you can install a 32 GB SD card.     

OPlus has added all the latest wherever possible, you have the Android Kit Kat 4.4.2 OS, default icons inspired from the MIUI. Then there is a 2000 mAh battery and is more suitable for moderate to average usage.
