Day 01: Siem Reap – Arrival (.)
Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, you will be met our tour guide and transfers to hotel check in and overnight at Borie Angkor Resort & Spa (Deluxe)
Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor Tours (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. We spend this afternoon seeing the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Day 3: Siem Reap – Holy Mountain (B)
After breakfast, a 2-hour drive north of Siem Reap will bring you to Phnom Koulen, a picnic destination for Khmer families and home to a series of tiered waterfalls. Hundreds of Brahmin Yonis and Lingas are carved into the sandstone floors along a shady brook. Phnom Kulen is considered a holy mountain in Cambodia, of special religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists who come to the mountain in pilgrimage. It also has a major symbolic importance for Cambodians as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, for Jayavarman II proclaimed independence from Java in 804 CE. Jayavarman II initiated the cult of the king, a linga cult, in what is dated as 804 CEand declaring his independence from Java of whom the Khmer had been a vassalage state (whether this is actually "Java" or "Lava" (a Lao kingdom) is debated, as well as the legend that he was earlier held as a ransom of the kingdom in Java. A 10-minute drive up the mountain brings you to a 16th century Buddhist monastery notable for its giant reclining Buddha, Buddhists co-opted Phnom Kulen as a holy site of their own after the Hindu heyday. Day 4: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake – Phnom Penh (B)
After breakfast, We board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals. After that visit Artisan D’ Angkor, home of handicraft center and the place where you will find lots of souvenir gifts and then we drive to Phnom Penh (314 km- 6hrs drive). On arrival transfer to hotel check in & overnight at Intercontinental Phnom Penh Hotel (Deluxe)
Day 5: Phnom Penh – City Tours (B/L)
After breakfast - Discover the Phnom Penh City, visit Wat Phnom, an ancient pagoda stand up on the hill, Independence Monument commemorates the end of Cambodia's ruled by France in 1953, Wat Unalom, the oldest Buddhist foundation in the city, probably predating the abandonment of the capital at Angkor in the 15th century. The founding date is variously cited as 1422 and 1443. The National Museum built in 1917-18 is exclusively dedicated to Khmer arts. Royal Palace built in 1866 and Silver Pagoda located within the Royal Palace compound. Continue to the famous Tuol Sleng Museum and Cheung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields, where large numbers of people were killed and buried in mass graves. Day 6: Phnom Penh – Shihanoukville (B)
After breakfast, transfer by vehicle (no guide) to Sihanoukville (230km – 4 hrs drives). Sihanoukville is the coastal area with lovely beaches are some of the most unspoiled in all of Southeast Asia although the fast growing of tourism. There are some 10 km of beach stretching the whole length of the town and dozens of small islands just a short boat ride away, which make for a perfect tropical getaway, with facilities for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. On arrival, transfer to hotel check in & relaxing. This free day will provide you some great opportunities to soak up the sun and sea as much as you want by spending your time swimming or lazing on a beach. Overnight at Sokha Beach Hotel (Mohori Water Chalet)
Day 7: Sihanoukville – Koh Rong Samloem Island (B)
Breakfast at hotel – We will departure from hotel and take a boat trip to explore the beautiful islands. Koh Rong Samloem Island is the second biggest Cambodian island off the coast of SihanoukVille, Cambodia. The trip to the island takes around 2 hours from the mainland Sihanoukville. This time you can enjoy your visiting such as Scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, exploring, and fishing covers most of the activities available on the island. Tonight you will stay at Bungalows House (no breakfast) on the island.
Day 8: Sihanoukville (.)
In the morning you will take a boat from island to hotel. Free at your own leisure on the beach. Overnight at hotel Sokha Beach Hotel (Mohori Water Chalet)
Day 9: Sihanoukville – Phnom Penh – Departure (B)
After breakfast at hotel - Free for your own leisure until transfer to Phnom Penh’s airport (230km – 4 hrs drives) for your departure flight to the next destination. End of our services!
