Sedation Dentistry in Madison

At Madsen & Hirsch Dental Care, we offer General Anesthesia, IV sedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide analgesia. Oral sedation requires you to take oral medication before your appointment and arrange transportation to and from the dental office. You will be awake, aware, and responsive, yet extremely relaxed. Many patients are taken back home after their appointment to sleep off the rest of the medication, and oftentimes wake up with little or no recollection of their visit at all. This is one of the best ways to help get patients to see the dentist for necessary dental work without having them be anxious or fearful.
